Kaya, Screenprint A3

Recently, I have gotten back into life drawing, I am not the best at accurately depicting the human figure but I am having fun playing with shapes, intersecting curves and straight lines. This is how I ended up with the creating 'Kaya', I am loving trying to find my style with this, so I might bring out a couple more and make this into a series.

There are four prints in total in this edition and three are currently available on my website.

Item Description

Paper: Khadi Rag Paper Recycled, 320gsm

Size: 297mm x 420mm (w x h)

Unframed, A3 prints are rolled and posted in a tube.

The Process

All of the screenprints in my store are hand pulled by myself. Each of these prints was created by building up four layers, using fluorescent paints and paper stencils I created the three shape layers. I then overlayed the stylised outline of the life drawing model using an exposed silkscreen and black ink, to create and impact and contrast the bright neons.
